Journals
Two journals within the IS discipline
that are devoted exclusively to Global IT topics:
The Journal of Global
Information Management edited by Felix Tan, published quarterly since 1993
by Idea Group Publishing.
The Journal of
Global Information Technology Management, edited by Prashant Palvia,
published quarterly since 1998 by Ivy League Press
After a brief run in the early 90s, International Information Systems,
edited by Paul Gray, was folded into the Journal of Strategic Information
Systems, edited by Robert Galliers, which tends to publish at least one
"global IT" piece in each issue.
Additional journals in managerial disciplines are nicely compiled in the journals
page of IS World.
Several other journals, at the "informatics" level, are generally
not as well known by IS researchers.
